Nothing says "holiday homecoming" quite like the warm, comforting flicker of electric window candles. These authentic 10-inch "DeLuxe Royalite" electric candles from the late 1950s/early 1960s are absolute classics of mid-century Americana. Complete with their original illustrated boxes, they bring an instant, nostalgic festive glow to any sill, mantel, or holiday display.

This offering is for a matched pair of R705 "Ivory" candles. Molded from lustrous, lightweight ivory plastic, each piece is designed to resemble a traditional candle, complete with cascading "wax" drips on the shaft and a beautifully embossed octagonal base featuring holly leaves and holiday scrollwork. They retain their original white electrical cords and are topped with standard sockets (one red bulb is included, though they can be outfitted with any standard nightlight-size C7 Christmas bulbs).

Equally marvelous is the packaging: both candles come with their original, highly graphic blue-and-red boxes featuring Santa, holly sprigs, and traditional candles. These boxes hold historical value, marked "Royalites, Inc., St. Joseph, Missouri." Dating to the post-1955 era when Royal’s St. Joseph operations were established, they represent the peak and final chapters of the beloved mid-century Royalite legacy.

(Please note: At least one bulb is included; one or both socket threads may require bulb adjustments or standard replacement C7 bulbs to guarantee future function). The original illustrated cardboard boxes show typical, expected wear from age, including edge scuffs, light crease marks, and flap wear, but both are fully intact, retain vibrant color, and display beautifully.
