Vintage 2000 Pfaltzgraff Welcome Christmas Ceramic House Ornament Reindeer Y2K 4 In
✨ Cabinet Curiosity No. 428 | The Millennium Cottage
As households welcomed the year 2000, holiday decor embraced cozy, traditional warmth. Pfaltzgraff, America's storied heritage pottery maker, released charming commemorative holiday pieces designed to mark the turn of the millennium on family Christmas trees.
Shaped like a charming country cottage and measuring approximately 4 inches tall by nearly 3 inches wide, this delightful ceramic ornament is part of Pfaltzgraff’s dated holiday series. The front facade features a creamy ivory glaze inscribed in festive script with "2000 Welcome Christmas," framed by a red paneled front door, blue shuttered windows, green garland accents, and a raised burgundy gable flower.
The back is just as delightful, featuring a raised, leaping golden-brown reindeer bounding across a textured mauve-tile roof above stylized green evergreens and a central blue snowflake motif. Fitted with its original burgundy satin ribbon for hanging, it offers a wonderful nod to Y2K holiday nostalgia.

A Note About Vintage Items & Their Little Crimes
Many of the treasures at Honeyblue Hollow come from estate sales, flea markets, and consignment shops where interesting things wait to begin their next chapter. Because they existed long before they found me, their pasts are checkered.
Vintage means used: Expect honest, authentic character consistent with age and previous love.
The Smell & Storage Factor: My workspace is pet-friendly and smoke-free. Buyers with extreme sensitivities should review the full Vintage Items & Allergens note in my Shop Announcement.
