Vintage 1984 Cabbage Patch Kids Christmas Wishes Porcelain Figurine Santa Hangtag 5 In
✨ Cabinet Curiosity No. 415 | The Babyland Christmas Eve
In 1984, the Cabbage Patch Kids craze had taken the nation by storm. Beyond the coveted yarn-haired adoption dolls, Xavier Roberts and Original Appalachian Artworks partnered with Extra Special, Inc. to create limited-edition porcelain keepsakes that captured the folk-art warmth and sweet innocence of the Babyland General legend.
Officially titled "Christmas Wishes" (Catalog Item No. 5403), this authentic 1984 Special Limited Edition porcelain figurine depicts a tender holiday moment. Santa Claus sits comfortably in a seafoam-green scalloped armchair, listening to holiday wishes from two children. On his lap sits a wide-eyed blonde girl in a pastel pink gown holding a brown teddy bear with a pink bow, while a red-haired boy in a creamy yellow sweater kneels by his side on a snow-dusted step.
Crafted in fine matte bisque porcelain with delicate hand-painted pastel details, the piece features delightful signature touches. The back of Santa's chair showcases the iconic Cabbage Patch baby face emerging from sculpted cabbage leaves. The underside bears the stamped production hallmark, Xavier Roberts' facsimile signature, and individual edition numbering: No. 02184 of 12,500.
Best of all, this figurine retains its original 1984 die-cut collector hangtag suspended from its original twisted gold metallic cord. The tag is crisp and intact, sharing "The Legend" of Xavier and Babyland General on the interior. A nostalgic, display-ready treasure for 1980s pop culture collectors, Cabbage Patch enthusiasts, and vintage holiday displays.

A Note About Vintage Items & Their Little Crimes
Many of the treasures at Honeyblue Hollow come from estate sales, flea markets, and consignment shops where interesting things wait to begin their next chapter. Because they existed long before they found me, their pasts are checkered.
Vintage means used: Expect honest, authentic character consistent with age and previous love.
The Smell & Storage Factor: My workspace is pet-friendly and smoke-free. Buyers with extreme sensitivities should review the full Vintage Items & Allergens note in my Shop Announcement.
