Laurie Korsgaden Framed Folk Art Print Crocks Salt Glaze Stoneware Oak Frame

Laurie Korsgaden Framed Folk Art Print Crocks Salt Glaze Stoneware Oak Frame

✨ Cabinet Curiosity No. 383 | The 1990s Country Kitchen Pantry Wall

In 1995, anyone serious about country kitchen aesthetics had a specific corner dedicated to Laurie Korsgaden prints, blue-decorated salt-glaze stoneware crocks, and bunches of dried baby's breath tied with homespun ribbons.

As a defining voice of 1990s American folk art, Korsgaden's work captured a cozy, idealized farmhouse charm that anchored countless kitchen walls across the country.

This open-edition framed print brings that exact pastoral stillness indoors.

The Anatomy & Architecture
The composition centers on a rustic wooden peg shelf mounted against whitewashed vertical plank walls.

On the shelf sits an arrangement of five salt-glaze stoneware vessels: blue-decorated crocks, a jug, and a cobalt spongeware pitcher overflowing with dried yellow flowers, ivy, and berry twigs.

A burgundy-and-green plaid quilt-pattern runner drapes casually over the edge of the shelf, while five dried herb and flower bundles hang neatly from the wooden pegs below, each secured with a gold ribbon bow.

The lower left corner bears the printed signature "Laurie Korsgaden ©."

The print sits in a solid red oak frame with a classic stepped molding profile.

It is protected beneath glass and framed by a triple mat system consisting of a wide cream outer mat, a rich burgundy inner mat, and a delicate gold fillet line that frames the artwork.

The Vintage Pedigree & Condition
Having spent decades protected behind glass in a smoke-free home, the print remains in very good vintage condition.

The colors are rich and bright with no fading or water damage.

The solid red oak frame shows minor, honest scuffs along the top right molding and bottom edge from normal age and previous display.

The glass front is clear, and the backing paper shows appropriate vintage aging.
