In 2003, two retail titans joined forces to create the ultimate holiday status symbol for suburban America.

Waterford brought the centuries-old Irish prestige, and Avon brought the sheer, unstoppable power of neighborhood direct sales.

The result of that corporate marriage was the Holiday Heirlooms collection: luxurious, hand-decorated blown glass ornaments delivered straight to your doorstep along with Skin So Soft and cherry lip balm.

Measuring a generous 4 1/4 inches across, the "Winter Ball" from the Four Seasons collection is an exercise in traditional Christmas opulence.

The center of the sphere is wrapped in a rich, satin-matte emerald green band, decorated with bold gold glitter snowflakes and sparkling starbursts. The north and south poles of the bauble are finished in a soft ivory cream, crowned with radiating crimson poinsettia petals trimmed in fine gold glitter.

Perched on top is an embossed brass-tone cap tied with the official red satin Waterford ribbon, stamped with the iconic brand logo in shimmering gold lettering.

Best of all, this ornament comes complete with its original 2003 factory presentation box (Item #F482681). While many early 2000s glass ornaments were tossed into loose storage tubs to meet an untimely fate, this one spent the off-season protected in its original cardboard housing.

The glass is structurally flawless with no cracks, chips, or hidden neck fractures beneath the metal cap. Cosmetically, it wears its twenty-three years with grace, displaying minor pinpoint paint flakes on the green satin band, light surface scuffs, and expected glitter shedding from holiday handling.
