The invitation said black-tie optional, but you decided to go full glam anyway. You slipped into your classic little black dress, draped this shimmering silver-tone clutch over your wrist by its dark chain handle, and snapped the ornate metallic clasp shut with a sharp, satisfying clink.
Walking into the high-end ballroom, the textured metallic finish caught the lights so brilliantly that you felt less like a party guest and more like an international art thief taking a night off.
You were standing near the charcuterie board, sipping a drink and minding your business, when a gentleman in a velvet tuxedo jacket started loudly holding court nearby. He held a sleek leather folio and grandly announced to anyone listening that it was a bespoke piece measuring an exact, unyielding twelve inches wide.
