$51.30 $57.00
✨ Cabinet Curiosity No. 163
Vintage Red Cliff Ironstone Grape Pitcher (Attributed)
If your kitchen shelf or dining sideboard is missing that quiet, opalescent magic that makes people stop and ask where you found it, consider your search officially over.
This 7-inch ceramic pitcher features classic relief-embossed grape clusters and vine leaves, a scalloped ruffled lip, and a structured angular handle. Finished in a soft buttercream glaze with a stunning iridescent luster sheen, it catches light from every angle with soft pastel rainbow highlights.
The Vintage Pedigree
Maker Attribution: Attributed to Red Cliff Ironstone (USA, late 1950s through early 1970s). Red Cliff was famous for reproducing classic 19th-century ironstone motifs and tableware.
Markings: Unmarked smooth base with a dry foot rim, consistent with un-stamped Red Cliff production pieces from the mid-century era.
Height & Scale: Measures 7 inches tall to the top of the spout, making it ideal for tabletop milk/cream serving, small water pourers, or standalone floral arrangements.
📺 Styling & Display Ideas
While originally designed as a table pitcher, this piece shines brightest as an active decor accent:
Farmhouse / Cottagecore Centerpiece: Fill it with fresh hydrangeas, eucalyptus, or dried lavender.
Open Shelving Display: Place it on open kitchen shelving or a rustic sideboard where natural sunlight hits that iridescent sheen.
Vintage Bar Cart Accent: Serve fresh lemonade, iced tea, or sangria at retro brunch gatherings.
🔍 Specifications & Condition
Dimensions: ~7" Tall x 6.5" Wide (spout to handle)
Material: Heavyweight Ceramic / Ironstone with Iridescent Luster Glaze
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. High-gloss glaze with vivid iridescent reflections. No chips, cracks, or crazing detected. Clean interior. Smooth bottom rim shows minimal shelf wear consistent with display age.
A Note About Vintage Items & Their Little Crimes
Many of the treasures at Honeyblue Hollow come from estate sales, flea markets, and consignment shops where interesting things wait to begin their next chapter. Because they existed long before they found me, their pasts are checkered.
Vintage means used: Expect honest, authentic character consistent with age and previous love.
The Smell & Storage Factor: My workspace is pet-friendly and smoke-free. Because vintage materials can occasionally retain faint hints of their previous lives, buyers with extreme sensitivities should review the full Vintage Items & Allergens note in my Shop Announcement and consider a light hand-wash upon arrival.
Curated for Modern Nerds & Old Souls.
